Here are my December favorites that I enjoyed during the frenzy of the holidays.
Food
I used my rice cooker often throughout the month of December. My blog post, How to Completely Change Your Cooked Rice Strategies, I shared with you how much I enjoy using this rice cooker. Rice that is not sticky or mushy. What a delight!
Beauty
While shopping at Jo-ann Fabrics, I picked up an angled paint brush. The brush was small enough to be used as an angled eyeliner brush. I am completely thrilled with this little brush. I use a powered eyeliner, this tiny brush, with the angle, allows me to get close to my eyelashes. The comfort grip handle makes it easy for you to draw a perfect straight line. The brush was $2.99, with 50% off coupons, this brush is too good to pass up.
Health
This Dr. Bronner's organic lip balm in Naked, is much needed now that the snow has hit my neck of the woods. This made in the U.S.A., certified Leaping Bunny approved, fair trade lip balm is $2.99 at my local health food store. The ingredients are- Avocado oil,Jojoba seed oil, Beeswax (certified organic), Cannabis Sativa Seed oil and tocopherol. The texture of the lip balm is not overly greasy and long wearing.
Website
I recently came across the FlyLady website and I have just begun implementing her baby step regimen into my daily routine. I have started with her clean sink agenda. I have yet to start laying out my clothes to wear the next day. But as she stated, start with baby steps.
Have you heard of this website? If you have, please share with us any of the FlyLady cleaning techniques that you use in your daily schedules. Also, what are your morning and bed time routines?
Now to you-
