Why It Is Necessary To Prioritize Your Email Subscribers

"If you’re a blogger, you know that with the start of 2015 comes the unfortunate reality that Facebook will be showing your posts to no one unless you pay. As experts like Neil Patel and others have reiterated over and over, email subscribers are the best and most efficient way to get and keep readers."  States Julie DeNeen on her January 3 blog post.

Because of this statement, I have been working on moving all email subscribers to Mailchimp.

After reading the above article, I decided to prioritize my subscribers by deleting the Hello Bar account and the Feedburner account. I have exported subscribers to the new Mailchimp account. All subscribers are now located in one subscriber campaign.

If you are already a subscriber, you do not need to do a thing. I've already moved everyone over. Mailchimp helps you export and add your subscribers. If you'd like to subscribe and haven't, you can subscribe via the Subscribe by Email box at the top of my right sidebar.

I have read that it is important to subscribe to your favorite bloggers, because it is time consuming to search all social media outlets to find a new post from these bloggers. By subscribing to a blogger, an email is sent directly to you, thus avoiding these searches through every social media.

Exciting news-

I have something exciting to share with my subscribers. I have added a free photo in the notice that is sent when a new blog post is published. This photo is for you to use. If you do use the photo in your social media posts or blog article, I would like to know about it. Send me an email. But, this is not mandatory.

I will be changing the photos monthly. Also, it is a desire of mine to learn to design graphics to offer. For example, goal lists. But that is in the future, I am still designing the blog notices.

Thank you for your patience while I learn how to use Mailchimp.

Now to you-

What email subscription service do you use?
