January Random Favorites

January was a month just to hibernate. Shorter days, cold temperatures, and the winter blues. Bring on the vitamin D. But there were a few items that made me happy last month. So let's take a look at a few of the items.

Bigelow Vanilla Caramel Black Tea

This may not be the most healthy of teas, but the vanilla and caramel give the black tea a warm and sweet taste in the morning or afternoon. This tea has the rich creamy taste of caramel, yet contains no calories. Because this contains a black tea, it has the added benefit of healthy antioxidants. I like to add a small amount of almond milk with a tiny bit of organic sugar to bring out the rich vanilla and caramel flavors. But, the tea is delicious alone.

Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar
This body butter is a warm blend of fresh coconut and delicate, creamy vanilla. The body butter is 100% vegan and cruelty free. I like to keep this compact size lotion in my purse. The lotion is creamy and soaks into the skin quickly. Leaving a soft coconut scent.

Acure Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towlettes
These towelettes work great at removing my makeup before bed. While it did remove the makeup from my face, it did not remove my mascara. However, the towelettes are made with a soft fabric and felt wonderful on my skin. I was very excited to see this product on the shelves at Target.

KitchenAid Hand Blender
I have not had this item for long, but the few times I have used it, I was pleased with my purchase. Great for blending, crushing and making purees. Now at times it can be a bit messy, but that could just have been the cook. The blender comes with a few recipes and I want to try a few. And I am in love with the ice blue color.

Plum Paper Designs Planner
I have been using my planner and I am just over the moon as to how happy I am with my purchase. I like the overall size of the planner and I like the texture of the paper. My pens just flow with a smooth grace across the page. I have been creating stickers, pocket folders, and coil clips for the planner.

I have been watching Alexis of Strange and Charmed for my planner ideas. Alexis creates her own inserts for her 6 ring planners. I have been incorporating her ideas into my spiral bound planner. Below is her latest you tube video.
